ABOUT
Diego is a physiotherapist, on-field therapist, and performance coach in the lower mainland, dedicated to working with motivated athletes of all ages and levels. His experience spans throughout the community, with athletes from the recreational, elite, NCAA, and professional level.
His clinical approach can be accredited to several mentors, centered around a combination of exercise-oriented techniques with manual therapy. A strong emphasis of his approach is placed on the education and development of athletic movement and corrective exercise training. This includes the comprehensive management of the athlete and the intricacies of a sport related injury.
He holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University (MScPT), and a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the University of British Columbia (BKin). Additionally, he is pursuing advanced certifications in Sport Physiotherapy (Certificate) and Manual Therapy. While also the founder of Core Motion – a novel sport specific wearable for movement training.
Diego offers a unique blend of firsthand experience, with a deep passion for optimizing movement and function. He enjoys collaborating with athletes and clinicians, whether it is recovering from an injury or looking to improve athletic performance.
